i-CABLE Communications Limited Proposes Strategic Name Change to CTF Media & Entertainment Limited Unlocking Synergy with Chow Tai Fook Group and Accelerating Omni-Scene Media Transformation

[Hong Kong, 23rd June 2026]  i-CABLECommunications Limited (the “Company”; HKSE: 1097), together with itssubsidiaries and consolidated structuredentities (collectively, the “Group”), announcedtoday that its board (the “Board”) of directors (the “Directors”) proposes to change the English name of the Companyfrom “i-CABLE Communications Limited” to “CTF Media & EntertainmentLimited” and the Chinese name from “有線寬頻通訊有限公司” to “周大福媒體娛樂有限公司” (the “ProposedChange of Company Name”).

 

TheBoard considers that the Proposed Change of Company Name can better reflect theGroup’s business development and direction of future development, including butnot limited to leveraging on the synergy with other members of the Chow TaiFook group.

Theproposed change follows the Company’s comprehensive brandrepositioning under the HOY Media Network. The Company has evolved from a traditional televisionbroadcaster into a comprehensive multi-dimensionalmedia network with the launch of its global “Omni-SceneContent Ecosystem.” This transition strategically repositions its threefree-to-air channels (HOY 76, 77, 78) around four core content pillars: News & Finance, Sports, Music &Entertainment, and Lifestyle. By seamlessly integrating these channels with thepioneering “Fourth Channel”—the HOY Streaming platform—which integrates the HOYwebsite, app, and social mediapresence to reach diverse audiences across all demographics, 24/7.

 

TheBoard believes that the new name can provide the Company with a moreappropriate corporate image and identity which will benefit the Company’sbusiness development and is in the best interests of the Company and itsshareholders as a whole.

 

The proposed change of company name is subjectto the approval of both the Company's shareholders at the General Meetingand the Registrar of Companies in Hong Kong.
