Responsibilities:

• Select Chinese and Taiwanese story items and give directions on China's stories
• Conduct political and social analysis
• Ensure accurate and fair coverage, awareness of political and social implications
• Deploy Greater China and overseas coverage.
• Produce the program 中國在線
• Assist China Editor to manage and co-ordinate the daily operation
• Support General Desk and panel programs

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• University graduate with minimum 4 years of relevant experience in newspaper or broadcasting industry
• With good understanding of the political situation in mainland China
• Excellent command of both written and spoken Chinese. Good command of written and spoken English
• Work extra hours and duties as and when required
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Sub Editor
