About the Role

We are seeking an energetic, commercially-minded and people-focused HR professional to join our Human Resources team as a true strategic business partner to our B2C telecommunications business.

Beyond delivering HR solutions, the successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor, bringing critical thinking, sound judgement and practical recommendations to drive positive business outcomes. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Partnering

  1. Serve as a trusted HR advisor to business leaders, providing proactive people solutions aligned with business objectives.
  2. Partner closely with leaders to enhance organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, talent development, employee engagement and team performance.
  3. Build strong relationships with stakeholders and influence people decisions through data insights and sound HR judgement.
  4. Challenge conventional thinking constructively and provide alternative perspectives to support informed decision-making.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  1. Lead end-to-end recruitment activities for key business functions, ensuring the attraction and selection of high-calibre talent.
  2. Partner with hiring managers on workforce planning, succession planning and talent pipelining initiatives.
  3. Drive employer branding and candidate experience initiatives to strengthen talent attraction capabilities.

Employee Relations & Leadership Support

  1. Coach and advise managers on performance management, employee relations matters and team effectiveness.
  2. Support leaders in navigating organizational changes and people-related challenges.
  3. Promote a positive, accountable and high-performance culture across the business.

Hong Kong & PRC HR Partnership

  1. Lead and collaborate closely with the PRC HR support to ensure alignment of HR practices, policies and people initiatives.
  2. Provide guidance on cross-border people matters and support HR initiatives from HQ where required.
  3. Leverage PRC exposure and market understanding to support business operation and talent strategies.

HR Projects & Continuous Improvement

  1. Lead and participate in HR transformation, change management and process improvement initiatives.
  2. Utilize HR analytics and workforce insights to identify trends and make data-driven recommendations.
  3. Contribute actively to initiatives that enhance employee experience, organizational effectiveness and business performance.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
  2. Minimum 8 years of progressive HR experience, preferably gained in sizable, dynamic and fast-paced organizations.
  3. Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a strategic people partnering capacity.
  4. Exposure to PRC human resources practices and cross-border HR matters will be highly advantageous.
  5. Strong understanding of Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and relevant employment regulations.
  6. Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at different levels and manage competing priorities with confidence and professionalism.
  7. Strong critical thinking, business acumen and problem-solving skills with the courage to challenge constructively and diplomatically.
  8. Self-driven, proactive and results-oriented, with a strong desire to continuously learn and grow.
  9. A genuine team player who is hands-on when needed, takes ownership and actively contributes to solutions.
  10. Passionate about people, business success and making the right things happen.
  11. Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  12. Fluent in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
  13. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and HRIS platforms.
