We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Facility Manager to support the daily operations of our facilities. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on professional with a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple service providers. This role is critical in ensuring our work environment is safe, efficient, and well-maintained.
Major Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of all facilities services, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional work environment.
- Monitor key service contracts, including but not limited to: security guard services, access control systems, CCTV, fire alarm systems, cleaning services, pest control, and waste management.
- Supervise the preventive and corrective maintenance programs, eg. plumbing, and drainage.
- Manage company vehicle logistics including licensing, repair, maintenance, fuel consumption and logistics.
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of office relocation, renovation, and refurbishment projects.
- Assist in preparing procurement documents (e.g., RFQs, Tenders) for projects, maintenance, and repair works, including necessary AutoCAD drawings and layout plans.
- Liaise with end-users, service providers and contractors to ensure service or works are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor work progress to ensure compliance with respective standard, safety, and quality requirements.
- Other ad-hoc tasks per corporate direction and needs.
